CLUTCH

Clutch's Mom was only a puppy herself. She was brought into the shelter as a stray at 6 months old and the staff had no idea she was pregnant. One day she had began to give birth and out came 4 lil puppies, all boys. My baby, Clutch was one of them. I just so happen to go to the shelter one day and saw Clutch with his brothers in a pen, he was only about 6 weeks old and had been given the name, Keegan. The name Clutch just fit him so much more appropriately. Anyway, from the split second I laid eyes on Clutch I HAD TO HAVE HIM. We immediately filed the paperwork and did what we needed to do to adopt the lil boy from the shelter. A few days later we were the proud owners of a new baby pit bull puppy. A couple years ago I had lost a dog due to cancer which sent me into a deep hole of depression. I truly did not think I would ever be capable of loving another dog again. From the second Clutch came into my life I loved him MORE than I ever thought I had the capacity to. This past winter we had a near death experience with Clutch. His vet had given him meds for a stomach issue that wound up being too high of a dose for too long and poisoned him. We had to rush Clutch to the emergency room in the middle of the night and he was hanging on for life. Three days later he had made a remarkable turn around and you would NEVER KNOW anything had ever happened to my sweet boy. He recently turned 2 in March and I couldn't imagine life ANY other way. He is my best friend, cuddle bug, personal comedian and guard dog. I recently moved across the country to be with the love of my life and he and I have raised Clutch together. My love is a truck driver so Clutch has become my world and looks after me. I truly feel like Clutch was introduced to me for a reason. He has taught me so many things about life and with him in our lives, it is now 120% complete. We love you, Clutch to the moon and back!!! xoxo
