Duke

Duke was adopted from the County Animal Shelter in Feb 2010. He and his 3 litter mates were abandoned. 2 had already been adopted, his sister was reserved, waiting for her new owners to pick her up. She laid in the corner of the kennel without enthusiam, barely paid attention to the visitors. Duke on the other hand was very happy to see everyone and loved the attention. He wasn't overly excited but playful and sweet. He graciously went back to the kennel while we visited with other dogs but never took his eyes off of us. He picked us and we picked him. We brought him home to our 4 yo Retriever mix and they are best buds.
