Maggie

Born across the street as the runt of her litter. My husbands parents had decided to take her in and give her to me, if I wanted her. How could I say no to a wrinkled pup that just popped out of the box?! I knew from that day she was a pit bull, and I had done lots of research because I wanted to be sure I was a responsible owner. Here where we live most people dislike big dogs, and are especially afraid of pit bulls. Maggie and I have been working on trying to change that viewpoint though but at times it can be discouraging. I want to make her into an aid of mine because at times I tend to fall over or feel weak. I want her to be recognized by my community as not something to fear but something that can be loved and is known as a hard worker. Although in a couple months we will be leaving this community, I am hoping the next community is a bit more open minded. Thank you for reading.
