I adopted Mr Eko September 16, 2009 from the Orange County Animal Shelter in Chapel Hill, NC. He was seized by animal control after being chained up in the woods off the owners property. He spent two months in the shelter before I found him. He was a year old at the time. Since then, he has been everything these great dogs are. He's loyal, an athlete, a clown, a snuggler, and just an all around amazing dog. He recently passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.

Luckily there are people like you in the world who take a chance on a pitbull and realize they are the most loyal, loving, and friendly dogs in the world. Also, Mr. Eko is an especially handsome pit, so I'm sure that didn't hurt in the decision making process. :)

Thanks! Luckily the shelter was not one of the ones that euthanize them based on breed. You're right. One look at his mugshot on petfinder, and I was on my way to meet him.
