Perry

Perry was rescued from a home known to breed fighting dogs. He was taken to a shelter that will automatically euthanize pitbulls. My father heard about it from a co-worker and immediately adopted him. It was one of the best choices he ever made. Perry loves all people and other dogs. Although he was abused and neglected, he shows no sign of aggression when our little puppy Dee-Dee chews on his ears while he's sleeping. He's so benevolent, calm, and loving. He has never hurt anybody and I know he never will. He especially loves babies and puppies and when he is really happy he 'talks' by making a deep, whining, humming noise. It's so cute! He has been so horrible abused by his previous owners, but he persevered. I talk about him like he is another person because to me, he is. He was given a second chance to love and be loved, and he is doing that quite well.
