Shadow

Shadow is our first Pitbull and she is absolutely precious!! She is a rescue - she was abandoned when she was just a few months. The woman who owned her passed away and her adult children moved from the house and left Shadow there. Our neighbor found her 3 weeks later, nothing but skin and bones. They had her for a few weeks but could't deal with her energy. My teenage son stopped by there house one day and she followed him home. She's been ours ever since.

We never believed that a dog is "bad" just because of their breed, but would have never intentionally owned a Pitbull. Now I couldn't imagine having any other dog. She is the smartest, funniest, most loving and affectionate dog we've ever had. She has brightened our lives so much and is a true blessing. I can't imagine anyone ever being mean to her or abandoning her, and I hate to think what her life was like before, but I'm sure glad she ended up where she is. I think we were rescued too!
