Pitbulls and Dog Packs

What are people's thoughts on Dog Packs for Pitbulls? While not huge in size, they are quite muscular and working dogs.. With proper introduction to the item, it seems having a little extra work force (even more so if on a slow walk / hike) would be a great thing. Thoughts? Suggestions? Experience with such?
